Yang Hyun Suk (양현석) is a South Korean entrepreneur, record executive, record producer, and former rapper. He is best known for being a member of the legendary group Seo Taiji and The Boys and co-founder of the agency YG Entertainment who produced globally sucessful groups such as BIGBANG, 2NE1, WINNER, IKON, and BLACKPINK.
He made his official debut on 1992 as a member of the trio Seo Taiji and The Boys. Following the group's disbandment in 1996, he co-founded and spearheaded YG Entertainment which ultimately become one of the "big three" agencies of South Korea.
In 2019, Yang Hyun Suk stepped down as the head of operations after being embroiled in drug and prostitution scandals.
