Introduction

ILLIT (아일릿; also stylized as :ll:+) is a five-member girl group under Belift Lab that debuted on March 25, 2024, with the mini album Super Real Me.

The group was originally composed of six members who competed in the JTBC reality show R U Next?. However, Youngseo decided to leave ILLIT on January 5, 2024, after mutually agreeing to end her contract with Belift Lab.

The group name ILLIT comes from the phrase “I Will Be It”. It expresses the group’s self-determined and ambitious attitude (I will) and their unique identity (It). The name also implies that the group can transform into anything depending on the verb that is inserted between the two words.
