Nana and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo To Star In The Upcoming 'Omniscient Reader's Perspective' Movie

The casting of 'Omniscient Reader's Perspective,' including Lee Min-ho, Ahn Hyo-seop, Nana, and Jisoo of BLACKPINK, has been confirmed.

Like the novel that has been serialized for ten years, the movie 'Omniscient Reader's Perspective' depicts Kim Dok-ja (Ahn Hyo-seop), the only person who knows the ending of a ruined reality, and his long journey to save the world with the novel's main character, Yoo Jung-hyuk (Lee Min-ho).

The web novel 'Omniscient Reader's Perspective,' which has been an enormous success and has now surpassed 200 million views in cumulative views since being serialized in the Naver series in 2018 and is gaining popularity overseas, is being produced as a movie. Against the backdrop of a worldview set in an ingenious setting where a fantasy novel full of monsters has become a reality, Kim Dokja, the only reader who read the book to the end, Yoo Jung-hyuk, the original protagonist of the book, and new colleagues they met in a changed world embark on an epic journey to change the ending.

Nana takes on the role of a character who appears in the novel along with Yoo Jung-hyuk and meets Kim Dok-ja.

Lastly, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, who made her debut as an actress through ‘Snowdrop’ plays Lee Ji-hye, a colleague who overcame many crises with Yoo Jung-hyuk through her excellent fighting skills in the novel and joins Kim Dok-ja's journey.

The 'Omniscient Reader's Perspective' side said, "It is said that the actors who gathered for the script reading exchanged friendly greetings, but when the reading began, they were 200% immersed in their roles and filled the scene with great heat and energy despite the cold weather.

"The fantasy masterpiece 'Omniscient Reader's Perspective,' which is gaining momentum, will open a new horizon for Korean movies with a grandiose worldview that has never been seen before," they expressed.
