According to Starship Entertainment, MONSTA X Hyungwon entered the training center on the 14th to complete basic military training and then be assigned to his unit as an active-duty soldier.

Hyungwon said through his agency, "I will return after finishing my military service in good health, so I hope Monbebe (official fan club name) will be happy until the day we meet again." He added, "I hope you look forward to MONSTA X. I will use the time I spend as Chae Hyungwon wisely and show you that I have grown more when MONSTA X comes together.”
Meanwhile, Hyungwon's solo web entertainment show 'Chae’s Adrift Story,' which he finished filming before enlisting, will be released on Friday at 7 PM KST.
