On January 19th, Korean media outlets reported that SF9's Rowoon is in talks to star in the historical drama "Sending Me to you."
"Sending me to You" (literal title) is described as a historical comedic melodrama about a young widow joining forces with a young widower to play matchmaker for four maidens who represent their country.
If Rowoon accepts, he will play the role of Shim Jeong Woo, the king's son-in-law. When Shim Jeong Woo was seventeen, the crown princess fell in love and chose to marry him. On their wedding day, the crown princess passes away, leaving Jeong Woo a widow who couldn't escape his title. Under the king's command, he takes on the responsibility of being a matchmaker.
Meanwhile, Rowoon is also set to star in the modern romance-fantasy drama "Destined With You" alongside actress Jo Bo Ah. Netflix recently shared the first still cuts of the drama. However, an exact release date has yet to be announced.
