During their latest V-Live appearance, ITZY's Ryujin and Yeji were reading and responding to theirs fans' comments and messages. Ryujin read, "Crush has to pay more taxes." When the clueless Yeji asked why, Ryujin explained, whispering, "Joy sunbae-nim . . . he's dating her . . ."
When Yeji still didn't seem to understand, Ryujin further explained, "He has to pay more taxes. That's what people are saying . . . That's why he needs to pay more taxes."
The 'tax' joke comes after Korean netizens pointed out that Crush has basically won the lottery by dating Red Velvet's Joy. And in Korea, lottery winners needs to pay more taxes.
