UHSN (유학소녀, meaning ‘Study Abroad Girl’) originated from the reality television series of the same name broadcasted on Mnet. The group debuted with the single titled “Popsicle” on July 11, 2019.

The show featured ten female participants from various nations who were given the opportunity to live the life of a K-pop star over a three-week period. Managed by Stone Music Entertainment.
