BTS's Jungkook, TXT, and Stray Kids Nominated at 2024 People’s Choice Awards

On January 11th, the 24th People's Choice Awards released it's list of nominees, wherein BTS's Jungkook was nominated in four categories: "The Male Artist of the Year," "The Pop Artist of the Year," "The New Artist of the Year," and "The Collaboration Song of the Year."

According to Korean media, Jungkook has set a new record as the most nominated Kpop solo artist ever at the People's Choice Awards. As a group, BTS was nominated for four awards in 2018 and 2020, respectively.

In addition, the BTS maknae impressed fans by being the only male singer nominated for the award in the "Pop Artist of the Year" category.

Jungkook was nominated for the award with his solo single "Seven," which was released in July last year in the "Collaboration Song of the Year." "Seven" recorded an amazing record, going straight to the top of the U.S. Billboard's main song chart "Hot 100," ranking third in the U.K.'s official single chart, and achieving the world's shortest period (108 days) of 1 billion streams based on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform.

Meanwhile, trending boy groups TXT and Stray Kids were also nominated for 'The Group/Duo Of The Year Award,' earning cheers from fans.

This year’s ceremony will be broadcast on U.S. broadcasting channel NBC, E! and streaming service Peacock on Feb. 18.
