Recently, on a South Korean online community, a netizen shared photos of THEBLACKLABEL's rumored girl group trainees and pointed out one of them to be Ella Gross, a Korean-American child model and actress. As the photos caught attention, international fans also pointed out that among the trainees are Bailey Suk, who choreographed for artists such as Lisa and aespa, and Shinsegae Chairman Lee Myung Hee's grandaughter. The photos eventually went viral, raising anticipation as what could be one of the best girl groups to debut in 2024.

On February 6th, THEBLACKLABEL released an official statement, confirming the rumors by announcing that they are indeed preparing to launch a new girl group.
