SEVENTEEN Leads The Industry in "MAESTRO" M/V

Seventeen, a group that celebrated its 9th anniversary, announced a new start.

A press conference was held at the Seoul Hotel in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul on the 29th to commemorate the release of Seventeen's best album, "17 Is Here".

"17 IS HERE," which was released at 6 p.m. on the same day, is an album that commemorates the past nine years while compiling works representing the past, present, and future of SEVENTEEN, just like the name of the album using SEVENTEEN's signature sound. It contains 20 Korean album titles, 8 Japanese album titles, and a total of 4 new songs.

"Maestro" has become the song with the highest unique listeners for an idol group in 2024.

Mingyu said, "The best album literally contains the image of SEVENTEEN from debut until now," adding, "It will be an album to organize SEVENTEEN so far and announce the beginning of a new SEVENTEEN." S.Coups also said, "As this album is our new beginning, we will go out with a new heart."

In particular, four new songs were unveiled at the encore tour "Follow Again" held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 27th and 29th, so it is expected to continue its upward trend through subsequent activities.

"We released the new songs in advance to give you a surprise present at the concert in Seoul. Thanks to the enthusiastic response from fans, I think I can work harder during this promotion," Jun said, expressing his gratitude.

SEVENTEEN becomes the first artist in history to have 3 albums surpassing 2 million copies sold on the first day!

Woozi, who wrote and composed the title song, said, "Maestro means a conductor or a person who is recognized by anyone in a field. It contains a message that various us come together and become the best. More than anything, this song contains familiar sounds when you know and hear it. It is characterized by the re-creation of new music by melting about seven songs, including "Adore U" and "FML."

"Since time has passed, I didn't want to show that I was relaxed or complacent about the album. We are still full of spirit and passion to go to more places and bigger places, so I wanted to show that we are constantly working hard on our annual leave. I think that is our new challenge and self."

Starting with the release of the album, Seventeen plans to expand further into the global market by taking the stadium tour in Japan, Glastonbury in the UK, and Lollapalooza Berlin in Germany.

The "Maestro" music video has broken 2 million views!

"Starting with 13 members was a challenge for us," S.Coups said. "Looking back on the past nine years, it was a time I had the relationship and trust I needed to move forward. I think we have gathered the strength to talk about many goals and move forward for the past nine years. Through the best album with such time, we will be able to go out to a wider place."

Boo Seungkwan also said, "I will continue to do my best as SEVENTEEN, to the point where others think, 'I can like a singer like this without regret,'" and Dokyeom said, "We will conduct the music industry well."
