Recently, WEACT partnered with 22 animal rescue organizations to save 1,426 abuse victims dogs. These dogs were rescued from a breeding farm located in Hwaseong. The stories of these dogs suffering from illegal activities have deeply saddened many.

S.Coups named a rescued puppy that WEACT introduced. The puppy was rescued from a breeding farm and was in poor condition then.

A WEACT official said, “We suggested naming the puppy ‘Coups,’ named after S.Coups or ‘Carat,’ the SEVENTEEN fandom name. It expresses the wish to spread S.Coups’ good influence widely,” he explained. After receiving the offer, S.Coups decided to name the puppy ‘Carat.’

Meanwhile, WEACT plans to use the donation from S.Coups to cover hospital expenses for the dogs which were rescued from the Hwaseong breeding farm.
