On October 16th, Source Music released an update about LE SSERAFIM Kim Chaewon's current health status and upcoming schedules through Weverse. The agency said, "Kim Chaewon has been in the process of recovering from Type A Influenza. However, persistent dizziness prompted her to make an additional hospital visit on Friday, October 13, during which she received medical advice to take a period of rest. As a result, we have determined that her priority should be on her recovery. Consequently, Kim Chaewon will not be participating in all activities temporarily, including the pre-recording of "NPOP" that was scheduled for today."
The agency added, "As a result, only four members of LE SSERAFIM will be active for the time being. We will provide further updates regarding the resumption of Kim Chaewon's activities. We will continue to place the highest priority on the health and safety of our artist and strive to ensure that she can meet her fans in full health."
Earlier this month, LE SSERAFIM cancelled the Bangkok leg of their "Flame Rises" World Tour after members Kim Chaewon, Kazuha, and Huh Yunjin were diagnosed with Type A Influenza.
Meanwhile, the girl group is set to release their first official English digital single "Perfect Night" on October 27 at 1 PM KST.
