SM Entertainment Confirms Taeyeon Will Release A New Album Next Month

SM Entertainment unveiled aespa, RIIZE, Red Velvet, TVXQ, SHINee's Taemin, and Taeyeon's plans on the 13th as its comeback lineup for the fourth quarter of this year.

Rookie group RIIZE, which debuted last month, will release a new song later this month to solidify its popularity. They sold more than 1 million copies of their debut single "Get A Guitar" within a week of its release.

SHINee's Taemin will also make a hit with his new mini-album "Guilty" on the 30th, while girl group aespa will challenge for a hit following this year's "Spicy" with its new mini-album "Drama" on the 10th of next month.

Red Velvet will make a comeback in about a year with its third full-length album next month and will be active. Taeyeon of Girls' Generation is also preparing a new album with the goal of releasing it next month.

"Taeyeon is loved in many ways, including entertainment, OST, and advertisements as well as as a singer," SM said. "This album is expected to receive a hot response as it is the first work to be released after a long time since the third full-length album 'INVU' in February last year."

In December, TVXQ, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, will release its ninth full-length album on December 26, its debut date. TVXQ celebrates its 20th anniversary with various activities such as concerts and exhibitions, along with the release of the new album.

In addition, NCT New Team, which will make its official debut next year, will hold 24 pre-debut tours in nine Japanese cities.
