According to China Central Television (CCTV) on the 24th, the Third Intermediate People's Court of Beijing dismissed the appeal of Kris Wu (Wu Yi Fan) regarding his 13-year prison sentence on crimes of rape and mass indecency.
Previously, Kris was arrested for rape and imprisoned in Chaoyang Detention Center in China. The former EXO member was indicted on charges of sexually assaulting three drunk women at his home between November and December 2020, and conspiring with another person to commit lewd acts with two women at his home in July 2018. Following this, he was eventually sentenced to 13 years in prison.
The Third Intermediate People's Court of Beijing said, "Kris Wu violated the will of women and took advantage of the drunkenness of multiple victims to have sexual relations with them. His behaviour constituted the crime of rape."
According to reports, Kris Wu will be 46 by the time he will be released. After serving his sentence, he is scheduled to be deported to Canada, his country of origin.
