Red Velvet's Joy to Resume Activities After Almost Two Months of Hiatus

On June 20th, SM Entertainment released an official statement to announce that Red Velvet's Joy will resume her activities. The agency said, "Joy, who was temporarily absent from the schedule to recover from her condition and get enough rest, will resume all her activities starting from the recording of SBS 'Animal Farm' on June 21st."

The agency added, "Joy has been taking a break, and her health has greatly improved. After discussing with the company and medical staff, she decided to return to activities. We thank all the fans who gave Joy a lot of support and encouragement. We will do our best to support her so that she can promote healthily."

Last April 26th, it was reported that Joy visited the hospital due to poor physical condition. She received the medical opinion that she needed treatment and stability through consultation and examination. Following this, SM Entertainment announced the indefinite hiatus of the Red Velvet member to focus on her recovery.

With Joy's return, fans anticipate her upcoming schedules and appearances, beginning with "Animal Farm," where she is one of the MCs.
