iKON's Jinhwan Confirms Enlistment Date

Kim Jinhwan said on his personal SNS on the 7th, "I'm writing like this because I think I have to tell you before anyone else," adding, "I'm going to join the military on July 20th. I'm sad that there are many things that I prepared and haven't shown you yet,
I know that our fans who have been waiting for me will be more disappointed than I am, so I will serve faithfully and come back quickly."

The agency 143 Entertainment said, "Kim Jinhwan will enter the training center on July 20. We respect Kim Jin-hwan's intention to enter the military quietly, and we ask for your understanding that the location and time of enlistment are private."

Kim Jinhwan will be the first iKON member to join the army.

Meanwhile, Kim Jinhwan is set to release his first solo album on July 18 with "JAY 1ST SOLOpt.2 BLUE MOON". Group iKON, which includes Kim Jinhwan, will hold an Osaka performance of "2023 iKON WORLD TOUR TAKE OFF" on the 8th and 9th and meet fans.
