Former BIGBANG member Seungri was released from prison this morning (9th).

A Korean netizen shared the news on a popular online community saying:
"Seungri (real name Lee Seunghyun), a former member of Big Bang, who was sentenced to a year and a half in prison for arranging prostitution and gambling overseas, was released from prison today.

An official from the Ministry of Justice said, "Seungri, a former member of Big Bang, was released from Yeoju Prison this morning."

Originally, he was expected to be released from prison on the 11th (Sat), but Seungri was confirmed to have been released from prison this morning (9th)."
