On April 3rd, Kim Wooseok held a media showcase commemorating the release of his 4th mini album, 'Blank Page,' at the Ilchi Art Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. This album comes after a year since Wooseok's third solo album '3rd Desire [REVE]," which was released in March last year.
Kim Wooseok, who debuted as a member of UP10TION in 2015, took second place in the hit survival show 'Produce X101' and became a member of project group X1. Later, in 2020, he released his first solo album '1st Desire [GREED]' and debuted as a solo singer.
Currently, UP10TION's contracts with TOP Media have expired for all members, including Jinhyuk Lee, Kun, Kogyeol, Bitto, Sunyoul, Gyujin, and Xiao, except Wooseok.
When asked whether he will renew his contract with his current agency, the singer-actor shared, "There is still contract period left. There has been no discussion yet regarding the renewal of the contract," adding, "I decided to focus on this activity first."
Regarding future group activity plans, he said, "We haven't talked about it yet," but added, "Up10tion and X1 are all still close friends."
He also talked about their friendship, saying that the members wished for his album release to go well and that they continue to have drinks together.
Meanwhile, Wooseok will release his 4th mini album "Blank Page" today (April 3rd) at 6 PM KST.
