On April 21st, Shownu ends his service as a social worker. In addition, according to Korea media outlets, there will be no separate events.
Previously, Shownu entered the Army training center back in July 2021, where received basic military training for three weeks, and then entered alternative military service as a social worker.
According to his agency, Starhip Entertainment, Shownu was diagnosed with a retinal detachment in his left eye and was judged ineligible for active duty due to the surgery he underwent.
With this, Shownu became the first member of MONSTA X to complete military service. Minhyuk, a member of the same group, enlisted on active duty last April 4th.
