"The Debut: Dream Academy" is a girl group survival program developed by HYBE and Geffen Records. Broadcasted on YouTube, the show followed the journey of multinational trainees as they competed for a spot on the show's debuting global group. The show concluded on November 18, 2023, with the creation of the six-member girl group KATSEYE.

The contestants were are split into two dance teams and two vocal teams to participate in the first mission, a performance showcase of their skils: Dance Team 1 (Daniela, Megan, UA, Adéla and Hinari) performs BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom”, Dance Team 2 (Emily, Ezrela, Marquise, Yoonchae and Mei) performs NewJeans’ “OMG”, Vocal Team 1 (Karlee, Lexie, Iliya, Brooklyn and Manon) performs a mashup of Robyn’s “Dancing on My Own” and Billie Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever” and Vocal Team 2 (Sophia, Lara, Celeste, Samara and Nayoung) performs Paramore’s “Still Into You”. Two contestants were eliminated after the mission: Hinari and Adéla.

Daniela, Manon, Ua, Ezrela & Celeste), ANTIFRAGILE Team A (Emily, Yoonchae, Lara & Sophia), and ANTIFRAGILE Team B (Iliya, Karlee, Samara & Megan.) In the end, Mei, Karlee, Illiya, and Brooklyn were eliminated.
