EMK, a local music production company, finally unveiled the cast for its upcoming musical, ‘Benjamin Button’,
It will star TVXQ's Max Changmin, Kim Jae-beom, and Kim Seong-sik, who will be alternating in the lead Benjamin role. This is Changmin’s first time to star in a musical since his debut.
The musical is based on the 1922 short story written by F. Scott Fitzgerald, ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’. It follows the journey of a man who ages backward.
‘Benjamin Button’ the musical was written and directed by Jo Kwang-hwa, who also wrote the lyrics to the Korean pansori musical ‘Seopyeonjae’ and directed the new musical ‘Werther’.
The musical ‘Benjamin Button’ will run from May 11 to June 30 at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts.
