Former NU’EST member Aron recently announced he is holding an event for his fans. Many fans were excited, but many more were surprised when they discovered that the tickets reportedly cost 990,000 won or approximately USD 740.
This amount is already considered expensive for a concert, and fan meeting tickets typically cost a lot cheaper, usually selling at most 100,000 won or USD 75.
Despite the price, reports say that the tickets have already sold out.
To be fair, this is no ordinary fan meeting. 2024 Aron College’s Spring Orientation Camp: Oppa and I is similar to a college orientation camp and will be held for three days and two nights. Fans will stay in the same accommodation with Aron himself in a resort in Gangwon-do, Wonju City.
The event is limited to 300 people. Ticket prices include round-trip transportation via chartered bus, accommodation, five meals, merchandise, program participation, travel insurance, and more. Four people will share one room.
Some fans do not mind paying such a fee, which is probably why the tickets sold out shortly after release. Many pay hundreds of dollars for a 2 to 3-hour concert along with tens of thousands of fans. Who would have ever thought, even in their wildest dreams, that they could spend three days and two nights with their idol?
Aron debuted in 2012 as a member of NU'EST. His exclusive contract with Pledis Entertainment ended in March 2022. He has been working as a solo artist since then.
