PENTAGON's Hui has launched a successful solo career.
According to the agency Cube Entertainment, Hui's first solo mini album "Whu Is Me: Complex," released on the 16th, topped the worldwide iTunes album chart.
It also proved its global popularity by topping iTunes' top album charts in 13 regions around the world, including Greece, Brazil, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Japan, and Poland.
In addition, the title song "Hmm Bop" ranked seventh on the Bugs real-time chart right after its release and entered the Melon HOT 100 as of the morning of the 17th.
"Whu Is Me: Complex" is an album that contains Hui's process of acknowledging his deficiencies and complexities and overcoming them. Hui participated in the writing and composing of all the tracks in the album, bearing the message, "Let's get out of the limitations set by the world and love ourselves and get immersed in ourselves and hang out together."
Meanwhile, Hui will unveil the "Hmm Bop" stage for the first time on Mnet's "M Countdown," which airs at 6 p.m. on the 18th.
