Excitement Builds as ATEEZ Gets Ready to Make History at Coachella

ATEEZ will make history when they perform at the 2024 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 12 and 19. They are the first Korean male idol group to perform on the Coachella stage.

Fans are truly proud of this upcoming performance. ATEEZ debuted under KQ Entertainment, a very small company.

Mingi said it best when he was “interviewed” by San on the latest episode of Wanteez (episode 35). San asked, “How did ATEEZ make it up so high?” to which Mingi replied, “Just like how I did.”

“Like an underdog that broke down barriers!” San said.

“We tore apart walls that seem unclimbable,” Mingi added.

It is rare, almost unheard of, for an idol group or artist that doesn’t belong to the Big 4 companies to have an opportunity to perform at such a massive stage like Coachella or even become number 1 on the Billboard charts, but ATEEZ made these happen.

ATINY, the group’s fandom, has been looking forward to Coachella for months since the lineup was announced in January, and excitement has been building up tremendously. The first performance is finally happening tomorrow.

Of course, ATINY quickly understood their assignment and promoted the group non-stop in any way they could on social media.

An ATINY fan group even organized putting up billboards near the Coachella venue to help promote ATEEZ.

Meanwhile, Coachella organizers have released the schedule for performances. ATEEZ will perform on the Sahara stage for the April 12 show from 10:45PM to 11:35PM PDT (April 13, 2:45PM to 3:35PM KST).

Coachella is the world’s largest music festival attracting over 200,000 people in its audience yearly. It is considered the “dream stage” of many musicians.

Coachella will be held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert. ATEEZ will perform on April 12 and 19.

Reports say that ATEEZ members will wear custom-made costumes from luxury brands, including Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana.

Other Korean acts who will be performing at Coachella are LE SSERAFIM, who will perform on April 13 and 20, and indie-rock band The Rose on April 14 and 21.

Fans who can’t make it to Coachella in person can stream the festival on YouTube.
