"I Can Wear Skirts and Grow My Hair" — Yoon Jisung Speaks Out Against Sexist Comments

Yoon Jisung is gaining attention for his response against sexist and discriminating comments.

Through the fandom community platform 'Bubble,' Yoon Jisung took his time engaging in conversation with fans and sharing life updates. The former Wanna One member also took the opportunity to address malicious comments.

"I was asked 'Why are you dressed like a gay man?' and 'Can't you do your hair like a man?' and I want to answer it," Yoon Jisung shared, responding with, "I don't think there is any gay-style clothing in the world."

The singer emphasized, "I can wear skirts and grow my hair. I don't see it as feminine style, and I don't think there is any specific criteria for hair, behavior, or speech to be considered as manly. I hope you don't make sexist remarks again."

"You may not like my hair, makeup, or clothes. But I don't think that should lead to sexist remarks. I can wear and do anything. And so can you," he added. "I'm not saying this to fight. No, this is something we all need to be careful about socially, so I am sending this message with the intention of being careful, hoping you will be too. Life is short, let's live it beautifully."

Yoon Jisung's statement instantly earned praise from netizens, while others criticized the person who left those comments to the singer. With 'Bubble' being a paid platform, netizens were also taken aback at how the person decided to spend money just to leave such comments.
