MONSTA X's Joohoney Raises Anticipation for Solo Debut With New Logo

Jooheon

, also known as Joohoney, of MONSTA X raised global fans' expectations with the first teasing content of his solo album.

Jooheon unveiled his solo debut official logo (JOOHONEY OFFICIAL LOGO) on MONSTA X's official SNS on the 30th of last month.

Along with the logo image, the video was also released, doubling the weight and symbolism of Jooheon's solo appearance.

Jooheon's official logo was made after the initials J and H of "JOOHONEY," which often appears in his signature sound "JOOHONEY 1 HUNNIT."

If you look at the logo image, two silver-colored sharp windows meet and take the shape of J and H, completing a circle, as if to symbolize Jooheon's charisma on stage.

In the video released with the image, the two windows rotate with a cool sound and finally find a contact point in the middle and cross.

The scene where the two windows finally meet after rotating seems to mean Jooheon's musical anguish and completeness for his solo album.

Jooheon has consistently pioneered his way in producing, including personal mixtapes, many of MONSTA X's title songs and tracks, collaboration with outside artists, and director of audition programs' mission songs.

He also stood out in singing OSTs, participating in "Ride Or Die" of JTBC's popular drama "Run On," which aired last year, and recently released the original TVING "Our Game: LG Twins" OST "AWAKE" with Kihyun.

In addition, he joined as the new main character of the "2023 Mountain Dew Campaign" and unveiled a charismatic concept photo, revealing the aspect of a "photosmith" who has been active since his debut.

Meanwhile, Jooheon, who accelerated his preparation for his solo album and released his first related content, plans to open a variety of teasing promotions sequentially in the future.

Joohoney will make his solo debut on May 22th with first mini album "LIGHTS".
