On March 21st, Korean media outlets reported that 3rd generation girl group 9MUSES (NINE MUSES) is set to make a comeback.
According to reports, 9MUSES A, a 4-member unit group consisting of Kyungri, Hyemi, Sojin, and Keumjo, plans to release new music as early as May. After that, 9MUSES will make a full group comeback in July or August. The composition of the members is discussed repeatedly.
9MUSES debuted in 2009 and soon became known as the first 'model idol' group. The group received love from fans due to their cool songs and performances and the members' participation in various entertainment programs. The group eventually disbanded in 2019 following the expiration of the members' exclusive contracts.
From Girls' Generation's comeback and Kara's reunion last year, 9MUSES is expected to be the first 2nd-generation girl group to reunite this year.
