The contract renewal issue for BLACKPINK, corresponding to the group's 7th anniversary, still needs to be solved. YG Entertainment has not released an official position, and fans eagerly await updates.

Jennie has not released a solo album since her single 'SOLO' in 2018. However, during the group’s world tour, Jennie performed on her solo stage with an unreleased song called 'You & Me.'

On the local time of the 9th, it was announced that Jennie's song 'You and Me' was registered with American Composers Association (ASCAP). This organization ensures fair compensation for song creators when their music is played publicly.

Recently, Jennie played the role of ‘Dyanne’ in the HBO series, ‘The Idol.’

At the same time, BLACKPINK has been nominated for four categories at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).
