Far from the rumors, fans of the group took it online to defend the group and asked malicious commenters to refrain from commenting hateful things about the group and not target certain members.

In a forum post on a local community site, a Korean netizen pointed out the members' behavior during the event which was immediately refuted by the original poster's fellow Korean netizens.
They commented:
- I see you can't say anything again in this article, it's really disgusting.
- If you really think about Lily, you can't post like that.
- Poor. Fighting NMIXX.
- No, I don't know if it's just pitiful or not (actually, if you look at it from Lily's point of view, this is rude), but why are you cursing the other members too?
