On April 11th, Starship Entertainment announced that IVE's Rei will be sitting out from the group's activities for their first full album, "I've IVE."
Starship Entertainment explained, "Rei recently felt symptoms of abnormal conditions such as palpitations and stuffiness in her heart, so she went to the hospital for consultation and examination. She received the opinion of the medical staff that she needed treatment and stability. After sufficient discussion with Rei based on the findings of the professional medical institution, we have decided to temporarily suspend her activities to restore her health."
"We ask for your generous understanding of our decision to put the artist's health first," adding, "We apologize for causing concern to our fans with sudden news, and we will do our best to help Rei focus on her treatment. We ask for the fans' support for Rei's speedy recovery. Thank you."
