On August 8th, High Up Entertainment, STAYC's agency, announced through Weverse that members Sumin, Sieun, Isa, and Seeun were all diagnosed with COVID-19 in the morning of the same day. STAYC has been consistently using self-testing kits before every schedule. On the previously mentioned day, all members tested negative except for Sieun, who turned out positive and had a mild sore throat.
To be sure, the remaining members proceeded to get rapid antigen tests. That was when the results for Sumin, Isa, and Seeun came out positive for COVID-19. High Up Entertainment is currently awaiting Yoon and J's results.
The four members are currently under home treatment and are following the guidelines of the quarantine authorities. Because of this, STAYC's scheduled appearance at the Ulsan Summer Festival and Show! Music Core is canceled. The group's new schedules will be determined and announced on August 13th.
