Some Chinese members of K-pop idol group posted images supporting "One China." U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited Taiwan for a two-day visit. Currently, China is strongly opposed to Pelosi's visit to Taiwan, calling it an infringement of sovereignty that violates the principle of "One China."

Wang Yiren of the group EVERGLOW left a post on Weibo on August 3rd with the message "#China is only one" and a photo of the "One China" principle.

WinWin, a member of the group NCT/WayV, also shared a post on Weibo saying, "#China is only one" with a Chinese CCTV central TV news post. The post has the word "China" written on a red background with five stars of China's Five Star Red Flag.

Opinions were mixed online over their posts, such as "it's just personal belief" and "personal activities can damage the entire group's activities." More than 2 million articles criticizing Pelosi's trip to Taiwan were posted on Weibo.

Citizens who support U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan held a welcome banner in front of a hotel in Taipei where Speaker Pelosi will stay on the 2nd (local time). Pelosi arrived in Taiwan and issued a statement saying, "The U.S. solidarity with the Taiwanese people is more important than ever."

After arriving at Taipei's Songshan Airport, Pelosi said, "The U.S. congressional delegation's visit to Taiwan follows a firm U.S. commitment to support Taiwan's powerful democracy," adding, "At a time when the world faces a choice between dictatorship and democracy, America's solidarity with 23 million people is more important than ever today."
