According to the K-Pop scene on August 23rd, Choi Yoojung will release her solo song in September and hold official activities. She is currently doing last-minute preparations for the solo debut.
Choi Yoojung first made her debut in 2016 as a member of the project girl group I.O.I, formed through Mnet's idol survival program "Produce 101." Since the following year, she has been active as a member of Fantagio's girl group Weki Meki.
Since her debut, Yoojung has been active in the variety show scene. Her dancing skills also drew much praise and also got attention for her "Kozy Pop" project "Huh?" with rapper Ahn Byeong Woong.
Fans are expected to pay keen attention to Choi Yoojung's solo career as she is the first to go solo in Weki Meki and is a new I.O.I soloist following Jeon Somi, Chungha, and Kim Sejeong.
