Introduction

Kang Young Hyun, popularly known by his stage name Young K, is the bassist, lead vocalist, and main rapper of the band DAY6 under JYP Entertainment. Young K was born and raised in Korea but moved to Canada in high school where he used his English name Brian Kang.

On September 7, 2015, Young K made his debut as a member of Day6 and released their debut EP, The Day, with the lead single "Congratulations." Six years later, on September 6, 2022, he made his solo debut with the extended play "Eternal" and its title track "Guard You."
