Kim Sung Jae

Introduction

Kim Sung Jae was a member of the duo, Deux, in South Korea from 1993 until 1995. Known for being the face of the group, he also did modeling and was known for his fashion sense. He traveled often growing up with his father, which led to him being fluent in multiple languages.

After the disbandment of the group, he ventured out on his own. After several months, he released his first and only solo album before his untimely death the day after. The circumstances behind his death were suspect, but his case never officially met a true conclusion. His legacy, however, still lives on. The title track of his solo venture, As I Told You, was wildly popular and has been a mainstay track for future generations to cover.
