iKON (Korean: 아이콘; Japanese: アイコン) is a 6-member Korean hiphop boy group under 143 Entertainment. They originally debuted under YG Entertainment as a 7-member group. The group was first introduced in the reality survival program WIN: Who is Next as "Team B”, which includes all current members except Chan. After that, Team B went on to appear in the 2014 reality survival program Mix & Match, which determined the final seven-member line-up of iKON: B.I, Bobby, Jay, Ju-ne, Song, DK and Chan.
On June 12, 2019, B.I left the group over alleged drug use reports, leaving the group with six members.
In April 2021, iKON joined the Mnet reality survival show 'KINGDOM: Legendary War' together with fellow boy groups.
On December 29, 2022, the six members left YG Entertainment on good terms, taking the rights to their brand and songs with them. On January 01, 2023, it was announced that they signed a contract with 143 Entertainment agency. In March 2023 their 1st Take OFF world tour was announced and in April of the same year they released their 3rd full album under the same name. In the same month, version 3 of Konbat designed by the members themselves under 143 entertainment was released.
