Introduction
Wu Xuan Yi (吴宣仪) is the former lead dancer and sub vocalist of the girl group WJSN, also known as Cosmic Girls, under Starship Entertainment and Yue Hua Entertainment. She is also the former leader of the group's sub-unit called "Joy". After joining and winning second place in the Chinese version of Produce 101, Xuan Yi also became a member of the group Rocket Girls.
Rocket Girls 101 disbanded on June 23, 2020 following the expiration of the members' contracts.
As a soloist, she goes by the stage name Betty Wu. She made her Chinese solo debut on August 13, 2019 with the digital single "Little Bird".
In 2021, she made her debut as an actress, starring in the hit Chinese drama 'Douluo Continent' alongside Xiao Zhan (Sean Zhao). That same year, she was the screenwriter for the film 'Look Into His World', in which she also starred.
On the 3rd of March, 2023, Xuan Yi didn't renew her contract with Starship Entertainment and offically left the group to pursue solo activities in China.
