Lee Ga-eun (이가은), best known by the stage name Gaeun (가은), is a South Korean singer currently signed under High Entertainment. She was a member of the South Korean K-pop girl group, After School, signed under Pledis Entertainment. She debuted in After School on April 27th, 2012 in Tokyo, Japan during their performance of "Let's Do It", and the Japanese version of "Bang!", marking her admission as she continued to make appearances with the group.
On July 4th, 2019, Pledis Entertainment made an announcement that Ga-eun's contract expired with the company as she decided to not renew. On July 5th, 2019, Ga-eun released her first digital single, "Remember You", marking her departure from Pledis Entertainment. On July 16th, 2019, Ga-eun signed with High Entertainment.
In 2018, Ga-eun was a competitor on the South Korean reality competition show, "Produce 48" (Mnet). Unfortunately, she was eliminated during the final round when her ranking was announced as No. 14. Ga-eun's agency (High Entertainment) clarified their stance following the news of Ga-eun's wrongful elimination from "Produce 48" due to vote manipulation. It was revealed that her actual ranking was No. 5.
