DKZ (Korean: 동키즈; Japanese: ドンキッズ), formerly known as Dongkiz, is a five-member boy group under Dongyo Entertainment. The lineup currently consists of Jaechan, Jonghyeong, Sehyeon, Mingyu, and Giseok.
The group made their debut with five members, which included former members Wondae and Munik. They released their pre-debut single on November 21, 2018, and officially debuted on April 24, 2019, with their first single album "DONGKIZ On The Block." However, on August 24, 2021, Dongyo Entertainment announced that members Wondae and Munik would be inactive due to different health issues. Consequently, Dongkiz had to be promoted with only three members for some time.
On March 18, 2022, Dongyo Entertainment made several changes to the group. They changed the group name to DKZ, which would start with the release of "Chase Episode 2. Maum." Additionally, they announced that Wondae had officially left the group and three new members would join DKZ.
On March 28, 2022, DKZ introduced their three new members: Sehyeon, Giseok, and Mingyu.
In February 2023, Munik, who had been on hiatus since 2021, officially left the group.
On August 7, 2023, Kyoungyoon officially left DKZ due to a controversy involving his family.
