Jacob Bae (Korean name: Bae Joon-young) is a Korean-Canadian singer and songwriter under IST Entertainment. Although born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Jacob remained anchored in his Korean roots. He wanted to be a singer, so he flew back to South Korea and auditioned for LOEN Entertainment. He made his official debut on December 6, 2017, as the lead vocalist of the 11-member boy group The Boyz.
Jacob took part in writing some of his group’s songs, including “I’m Your Boy (2017),” “Just U (2018),” and “Spring Snow (2020).”
