IVE's "HEYA" Tops iTunes Charts After Release

IVE proved to be a global trend by making a name on the global chart at the same time as its comeback.

IVE released its second EP album "IV SWITCH" on the 29th and made it to the third place on the "Worldwide iTunes Album Chart."

As of 8 a.m. on Tuesday, IVE, which is drawing global attention for its high-performing comeback, topped iTunes' Top Album chart in 16 countries/regions including Costa Rica, Malaysia, Norway, Turkey, and Vietnam. It also ranked third in Hungary and Mexico, topping the charts in 18 countries/regions around the world.

On iTunes' Top Song chart, songs from the second EP album topped the chart. The title song "HEYA" is in three countries/regions, and "Accendio" is in the top five. In addition, "Blue Heart," written by Jang Won-young, recorded TOP 20, "Ice Queen" TOP 10, and "WOW" and "Reset" also recorded TOP 25, making all the songs in the chart.

The music video for the title song "HEYA" also surpassed 10 million views within 19 hours of its release, and as of 10 a.m. today (30th), it was ranked third in popularity and No. 1 in the trending world of YouTube music videos, boasting global popularity.

It is loved by many people both overseas and in Korea. "HEYA" ranked second on Bugs real-time charts, sixth on Genie's real-time charts, and seventh on Melon's TOP100. At the same time, the double title song "Accendio" continued to be in the top 25 of Bugs, Genie, and Melon's major charts as of 9 a.m. on the 30th.

The title track "HEYA" in the album has strong impact with folktales and powerful hip-hop genres, while the double title track "Accendio" has a mysterious atmosphere as if casting a spell. In particular, the third track "Blue Heart" caught the eye with Jang Won-young's solo lyrics.
