YG's new girl group BabyMonster, which debuted in earnest, has entered the world's largest music streaming platform Spotify's global weekly chart.

According to Spotify on the 11th (local time), Baby Monster's first mini-album title song "SHEESH" entered the Weekly Top Song Chart for the first time in 80th place. It is interpreted as reflecting the soaring interest after appearing on SBS's "Inkigayo," their first music show last week.

In fact, "SHEESH" ranked 82nd on Spotify's daily top songs chart right after Baby Monster's performance was released. On top of that, it has continued to be popular for 11 days, rising to 62nd place, its own highest ranking.

It is predicted the song will continue rising!

As such, Baby Monster is capturing the hearts of music fans with its perfect live performance every time. In particular, YouTube's It's Live, which captured the members' skills with a band session arrangement, was greatly loved. With the praise of their incredible abilities as rookies, they achieved No. 1 in YouTube video trending worldwide.

Music broadcasting stages also show unusually high views and are at the top of YouTube's soaring popularity videos. As many activities are scheduled, including the second appearance of "Inkigayo" this week, the trend is also expected in the future.

Meanwhile, Baby Monster is imprinting its presence as a next-generation K-pop representative with its debut album "BABYMONS7ER." It sold 401,287 copies in a week, setting a new record for the first album to debut as a K-pop girl group, and the music video for its title song "SHEESH" surpassed 100 million views on YouTube in 10 days, the shortest time for a K-pop girl group to debut.
